hi I'm Jocelyn and I'm tryna sit this aaaaaaaaasss on Richard Sherman
so I’m excited about this book because I had a lot of curiosity about black people in ancient Greece and Rome but a it took me awhile to find something that went in depth about the subject. The MET has a good collection of people of African decent in Greek art but these are just pictures I want to know about how they were perceived in society. Most of the “Afrocentric” (aka niggas with Ankhs) written books were both poorly researched and got basic facts wrong (one book placed Aristotle at the library of Alexandria. 25 years after his death -_-). This book was written by the (former;he died) chairman of Classics department at Howard and based on the reviews of the book he presents evidence for his finds. He’s not just blowing smoke out of ass.
